I believe this is a great first project to pick up because not only do you get something awesome at the end but you get to learn about: electronics, soldering, construction, and designing. once these skills are picked up, they can be applied to other projects.. Started this weekend on my first build, a vewlix stand up modification to fit 24inch lcd. minimal previous woodwork experience, built a poker table and a bar before, so now for something a bit more challenging.. This arcade cabinet exudes retro-technology, but the small circuitry and led monitor, take up such little space that choice of turning it into a storage cabinet was genius..
